About

Embracing a childhood filled with admiration for my brother Michael Cummings, whose presence on Broadway and television sparked my own passion for the craft, I discovered my calling early on. From the tender age of seven, poetry became my sanctuary, a medium through which I could articulate my deepest emotions and ideas. Winning contests and immersing myself in the art form led me to pursue a captivating poetry class at Clark Atlanta University. Yet, it was during my pursuit of two master's degrees in screen acting that I unearthed a newfound love for scriptwriting. Inspired by my Trinidadian roots and fueled by a desire to amplify West Indian culture on screen, I dove headfirst into crafting narratives that resonate with authenticity. Raised in New York by Trinidadian parents, I navigated the complexities of identity, eventually embracing my cultural heritage as an integral part of my artistic journey. Now, as a Trinidadian-American actress and writer, I am committed to weaving narratives that celebrate diversity and elevate underrepresented voices. Grounded in values of culture, family, and loyalty, I am grateful for the opportunity to share my passion with the world. Thank you for joining me on this extraordinary adventure.
